Steve’s Drugs then and now…

It all started with Carl Ray McLemore.

Steve’s dad quit school in 11th grade, he joined the army where he was sent to fight in World War II. When he returned stateside, he finished school and launched his pharmacy career. Carl married Jeffie and the couple moved to Moulton. They both worked as pharmacists at Walgreens in Moulton before deciding to open their own pharmacy.

Steve grew up in The Drug Shop…

Many locals will know “the coffee drinkers” hung out at The Drug Shop everyday. Steve grew up getting to know these fine men who drank coffee and hung out at The Drug Shop. A lot of these outstanding older gentlemen, influenced and mentored Steve.

A note from Steve to you.
